Registration and Payments

Registration

Registrations are accepted via our online shopping cart, by phone or in person. To shop online, simply add classes to your cart and follow the registration process in our secure online registration system. Registrations are accepted until the day of the class, if space is available. We recommend registering early. Classes must meet a minimum number of participants to be held. If your class does not meet its minimum, we will notify you via e-mail once a decision is made to cancel the class, usually two business days prior to the start of your class. If you have any questions about the registration process please call 512-471-2900 for assistance.

Payment Options

We accept debit and credit cards through our online shopping cart. For university interdepartmental transfers (IDTs), please contact Gavino Abrigo in our business office at tccic@austin.utexas.edu. For check payments, you may visit our office located at the Development Building, 2901 N IH-35, Suite 3.200 in Austin between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Available Discounts

We offer a 10% discount for the groups listed below. If you belong to any of these groups, please contact our office via email at tccic@austin.utexas.edu to request the discount code for registration. If you pay for the class without selecting the discount, we will NOT be able to refund the difference.

  • Retired faculty and staff
  • Senior Citizens
  • Texas Exes Members with current membership card
  • Littlefield Society Members
  • UT OLLI Members

If you are a member of more than one group, please know that we are unable to apply multiple discounts to a single registration order.

Wait List Option

If your preferred class section is full, there will be an option to join the waitlist on your course page. If space becomes available, registration priority is set according to when you joined the waitlist. You will be contacted by an Informal Classes staff member in order to enroll in the course.

Release Forms

If your class requires a release form, this will be stated on the course page, and you will be prompted to download the form when checking out. Please visit our Policies and Forms page for more information about release forms and to download the appropriate form.
