Online Courses Now Available for Summer

Parking is available in Lot 40, located on the southwest corner of Dean Keeton and Red River (can use 2500 Red River Street for navigation). Please note parking in Lot 40 is available to Informal Classes students at no charge but is on a first come, first served basis and is not guaranteed. No permit is required to park in Lot 40 (although there may be some "Official Visitor" spots in which you cannot park).

If no parking is available in Lot 40, Manor Garage and street parking is the next closest parking to our building; standard City of Austin and UT parking garage rates will apply. Please do not park in lots designated UT Permit only as you may be ticketed. Review the University's Parking 101 information sheet for details about parking on the UT campus. Informal Classes is not responsible for any tickets received.

Students are eligible to purchase N or N+ parking permits from the university's Parking and Transportation Office. You will need to bring your e-mail receipt which denotes your participation in Informal Classes. Please see the Parking and Transportation Services web site for more information. Their main office is located at the Trinity Parking Garage (TRG), 1815 Trinity Street.

Students who are attending classes at the Biomedical Engineering (BME) building may be dropped off at the UT Littlefield Café to socialize for 30 minutes with each other and volunteer students from UT. Students will be escorted to BME and back to the Littlefield Café after class.

If you attend a class at the Thompson Conference Center and need to park in another area on campus–particularly in the evening–due to lack of space in our lot, you may call the University Police Department's SURE Walk at 512-232-WALK (9255) and volunteers will meet you anywhere on campus and escort you to your destination.
