Frequently Asked Questions

What happened to the program? Due to COVID-19 related difficulties in providing courses and concern for the health and safety of our students, instructors and staff, we are pausing Informal Classes, as of September 1, 2020.

When will you be offering classes again? At this time, there is no specific re-launch date for Informal Classes, but we hope to be able to consider offering courses again once in-person classes are safe for all attendees and instructors.

Are classes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) available through any other local programs? Yes. Online programs are being offered through Joshua’s Stage. Jon Pierce, the Program Coordinator, is available to answer questions for new students and their families via email at or cell phone 512-529-9331.
