Can minors take classes?

Sorry, no. Courses are for adults only.

I’m a UT student. Can I take these classes?

Yes, and you can get a coupon code for 10% off! Email us to get the code.

I’m not affiliated with UT at all. Can I take these classes?

Absolutely! Informal Classes are open to all adults.

Why didn’t I get a reminder before my class started?

We send reminders for all of our classes approximately two days before their first meeting. Please add our email address to your address book to ensure our messages do not get redirected by your spam filters – tccic@austin.utexas.edu.

Do these classes count for academic or professional development credits?

No

Can I get a letter of completion?

Possibly, on a case-by-case basis. Please send an email and let us know your needs.

What happens if a class gets canceled?

You will receive a full refund. This can take as little as three days or as much as a full credit card billing cycle before you see it, depending on your bank.

How can I submit information on a course I want to teach? 

Send us your information through our course proposal form.

My class location says “location TBA by instructor.” What does that mean?

Some of our instructors are artists that teach out of their home studios. To protect their privacy, we will e-mail the exact address to students enrolled in the class before the first day. If you need information about the rough location/neighborhood the class will be in, please contact us.
