March 13, 8:30 a.m.

UT Austin has closed operations and canceled classes on Friday, March 13.

The past few weeks have been especially busy for everyone at The University of Texas at Austin. We’ve been evaluating options for continuing to enable learning and teaching amidst the spread of COVID-19, and we are now in the process of implementing those plans to ensure the health and safety of our learners, instructors, staff, and the broader community.

Since the situation related to COVID-19 is evolving rapidly, we made the difficult decision to cancel some of our upcoming Informal Classes.

Everyone directly affected by these cancellations has been contacted with additional information, and we will continue to keep you informed over the coming days.
