Introduction to the Stock Market

The stock market continues to be a topic of interest, intrigue, fear, and hope. Today, more and more investors are being asked to manage their own retirement accounts, even though they haven't been offered any training in how to analyse investments. This class is all about de-mystifying the stock market for the average, everyday investor. We'll talk about what the stock market is, how it works (and doesn't work), and what you can expect if you decide to invest in stocks.
