This 90-minute class covers the basics of AcroYoga. Students will work in small groups to explore the fundamental principles and a few foundational poses of the practice. This class is designed for people who have never tried AcroYoga before and want to start from the beginning.
Matt Stephans has taught hundreds of beginners how to get airborne (and to lift others up!) since he began teaching acro in 2015. He is a founding instructor at Austin’s AcroYoga school, Empowered Acro.
This class requires all participants to
complete and sign a university Release and Indemnification Agreement
before being considered enrolled in the class. Bring the completed
form to the first class meeting and turn in to your instructor.
